Extra Aliens for a French Tour!

Ah you see, this month Gibberish readers I ain't been really keeping up with this here blog now have I? It is a shame really but there is a reason! Been keeping under the radar for a bit until I really want to officially announce the news. I want to get some work up before showing it off to you. I, like always will not go really into too much depth with what I truly mean but it does involve more of my own work. When I say that I mean more of my own work and not stuff for other people. I think the time has come for a little bit of the new new!
But first peeps, some more of this Karl Phillips and TMR (click right HERE for their Facebook page) poster work. Last time I showed you the full up and coming, French Breakers Tour poster I designed. However, I showed you a version with all the dates and everything. Now, this version is one without but replacing it is an extra character. You might say this here is a special edition poster that will go on sale while the tour is on. So, if you want look out for it. But the thing is peeps which one do you prefer out of these two?

OK ladies and gents that is me done for this Tuesday's blog post! I am off to put these guys on t-shirts and the like for the tour as well! I think this is the start of something wonderful and crazy!! Toodles!!

Tour Poster Complete!

OK, so first off the bat Gibberish readers, sorry there has been a bit of a gap in between these last 2 posts. There is a reason I promise you that. Reason being this grand tour poster I have been working on for the band, Karl Phillips and TMR (click right HERE to be sent to their Facebook page) has had to go through a bit of tweaking in order to reach this here blog post. I can safely say though the wait has been worth it as this poster is one of my fav all time pieces. Something wild and crazy for your eyes. Something colourful and juicy to sink yer teeth into! This year has gone off to such a good start for me and rightly so! Alright, enough of this banter I tells yer. Here is the final product peeps and I so hope you like too. Oh, and I am showing you the version with the tour dates on. Hopefully soon I will add the one without as well.

 

This guys is going all around France and in all the good venues too. I hope this will get seen by a great deal of people and really help to sell the bands name well! Be sure to go and catch this band play sometime if you can not get yourself to France because they have amazing live! I will hopefully be doing much more with these guys in the future so keep them greasy eyes of your peeled peeps!

Going off now to start some new work everyone but be sure to look out for this band and this poster going up around Facebook and French land for that matter. * Grrrrr* Wait, is that my stomach rumbling? Off to get some nom noms or maybe just bite down on a cow! Toodles

Aliens 'n' Steaks!


So here it is, the first Gibberish blog post of 2013. Wow and to think there were all those saying the world would end on the 20th last year! Well, actually I think a part of it was the world would indeed end but a new one would begin! I agree with that because a brand new chapter in the gibberish saga is indeed beginning. And what better way to start off this new year with one of my biggest projects to date! Fantastic start to the year this has been for me and we are only a few days in already!
OK, so I can not really go too much into this as it is supposed to be a bit of a secret at the moment, but lets just say I am doing something weird 'n' wonderful for, Karl Phillips and TMR. Some sort of wild poster of aliens eating steaks LOL. Yeah, I think the word, wild is a bit of an understatement here. If you do not know already, I did a logo for the band last year and I am continuing to do more visual pieces for them following on with this. If you have not checked this mad band out I suggest you do so already! Yeah that is right, get on it peeps. You can visit them by clicking ==> HERE!!

Anyway, On with the show hey? This here is my work in progress for the poster! Like the aliens and errrrrr...... Cow?


I can guess what you are thinking right now! I bet it is, this damn thing ain't making any sense at all! Well, I would just have to reply to that by saying, I ain't called Gibberish for nothing you know?!
No, but really, it will all be making sense soon enough and the coloured version is going to be something else! I am truly excited about seeing it all done. Mind you, I got a lot to do this weekend with it so I better get a move on, get off this blogger and start with putting it all together.
I do hope you enjoyed the first showing of my first very piece of the year. I promise you something though, it is such an amazing start to a new world! I welcome 2013 in with open arms, you beauty!
