What a Chemical Reaction!

Hello there Gibberish readers! I hope everyone's weekend was funky and fun! Back to another Monday now and along with it comes those so called Monday blues!
For me, my weekends been really productive once again (as always) with finishing off that Chemical Language name tag. For now I put over the sign a bio-hazard symbol but tomorrow I am starting up something that will replace it in the end. Chemical Language as he is known wants a kind of logo which can be used for a lot of different things. Like the alien I did for him in a gas mask I will make a gas mask symbol type thing. Made out to look like some warning sign or something with an added faded look to it. But I will show you that this Friday along with some other project that I am being hush hush about! :P Ain't I a teaser?! Oh I have to say, I am really getting into halftoning! Has such a cool old comic book look to it all!

Chemical Graff Tags!

Hey Friday readers! Here with a shortish kind of blog this week with a showing of my new name tag piece. I've been getting more and more into type faces recently and it is getting to be an enjoyable habit I should add. Yeah, I've been doing more names for electronic music pros in funky styles. I did that Greek Gods Records name tag a few weeks back and it was a first in a long time trying to pull off that type of graff work. This week I've been doing it again with, Chemical Language. Yep, you guessed it that music pro I've been working with, the gas masked alien illi to be exact! Now here comes his name! Take a gander at this demo!

Been doing the word Language too but I will show you all of it in a later post, complete-o! 

Also I would like to say one of my old ancient cartoons have been calling a bands attention! They would like me to dust off those pixelated cob webs and put it to some funky use, adding a few new touches here and there of course!. But more of this one too later I am afraid! Breaking Skulls with Saws to Reveal a New Logo!

Hey there guys! How is everyone doing in cyberspace today? Now, you might be wondering why the hell I never actually blogged a single post last week and the truth is, I am not sure why. I had a few projects in the works, finishing off two to be exact. Days past and yet I could not get to finish them on time for when my blog days were so I thought, Ah fuck it, I will just wait till Monday rolls around and then show you two wonderfully finished pieces instead, make it a double wammy (<--- is that how you spell wammy?) if you like!

First off my wonderful gibberish readers is my more recently finished art. This here is a logo I've just finished for Free Breaks Blog. This blog is for everything breakbeat. A great blog showing off and passing out all types of free tunes, so if you like your electronic dance music check this site out! OK, now second up is that alien I did for Chemical Language. I showed you all the pencil stages of it last post but here is the finished article. I posted it up on my Facebook page mid week but never actually blogged it. So if you have not seen it up on my page at all here it is again for all to see!

From Gods to Aliens!

As it slowly gets dark come Friday I am sipping some late night coffee (which may not actually be a good idea mind you) and smiling about my new illustration project. After this Greek Gods Records piece I was getting involved in I am designing a character for a guy who names himself, Chemical Language. This guy is based in Miami and is a great up and coming EDM producer and DJ. Just click right here to go and visit his Facebook page! So, CL as I will call him for now wants some wild gas mask sporting guy as a character for his tunes and I though some crazy alien type with chemical jars and test tubes will do the trick. Then I got an idea of linking his DJ headphones up to the test tube bubbling away with some dangerous chemicals. I am also going to add a speech bubble later with the chemical symbol inside as it will go with his name. I am about to ink this geeza in but here is the very start, just pencil for now! It has been a fun week this, from drawing gods all the way to aliens. I think I got a theme going here, a weird but fun theme! Check the scribbles!

It's going to be yet another colouring weekend as I try my best to get it done for Monday but who knows, might just find another mid night posting going on!

A Godly Finish at Mid Night!

Hmmmmmm Monday may have gone nearly two hours ago for me but I say a day doesn't end until I go to bed damn it :P! OK, OK Mondays post this week has turned into a Tuesday post, but hey, only by a few hours! AND not even a few, one and nearly another!.... All right, I need to stop because by the end of my useless rambling it will be two hours I am sure!

I'd never thought I would see myself typing a blog post at mid night but here I am come Mon...... I mean Tuesday with my new post! I may be late with this post, and besides you lot will not be reading this until hours later! But still, I have been working hard this weekend finishing of that Greek Gods Records illustration. I wanted it done so much that here I am typing away at, 1.57 am while thinking to myself, damn I really need a shave (* itches chin*). Right, enough fuss here is the finished piece! Greek Gods Records has a new crazy toon gibberish style! (Ooo that was scary, lost internet connection there)

Aaaaaaaah right I am off running away and jumping into bed before I loose internet connection again! Maybe the Gods are trying to tell me something here! :P See you lot and for all who are reading this as late as when I first publish this have a good night! Toodles!!
